Luxury Yacht Charter AS YOU WISH Sets Course for Costa Rica and Panama in 2027

By Anna Ingles 26 October 2026

Yacht rental AS YOU WISH is expanding her charter horizons for 2027, with Costa Rica and Panama set to join her cruising destinations.

Formerly known as HOSPITALITY, the 164.1ft (50m) Westport charter yacht has spent two years being reimagined by Patrick Knowles and will bring a substantial collection of water toys and a repowered 42' Freeman tender to the region.

A Different Perspective on Costa Rica and Panama

For charter guests, Costa Rica and Panama yacht charters offer access to the Caribbean’s quieter cruising grounds, where island-hopping, snorkeling and time ashore can be combined with exploration along a varied tropical coastline.

On Costa Rica’s Caribbean side, the coastline has a different character from its Pacific-facing resorts, with rainforest-backed shores, coastal communities and protected natural areas shaping the experience. Panama adds opportunities to cruise among offshore islands and explore sheltered waters, with the Bocas del Toro archipelago offering a network of islands, reefs and mangrove-lined channels.

The region’s appeal lies in the variety of experiences available both during the time underway and on days spent exploring by tender. Guests can plan excursions around marine life, snorkeling and coastal landscapes, then return to the charter yacht to make use of her water toys or relax on deck.

The precise itinerary will depend on the charter dates, local conditions and access arrangements, but AS YOU WISH’s move into these waters opens up a different setting for her 2027 season.

A 42' Freeman Tender and an Adventure-Focused Toy Collection

A key addition for the new season is AS YOU WISH ’s 42' Freeman tender, which was repowered in 2026 with four Mercury outboards. Its role is particularly relevant in a region where days on a charter vacation in Central America can extend beyond the yacht itself, allowing guests to explore the coastline and reach places that call for a smaller craft.

Back onboard, the water-toy collection caters to a range of energy levels. Three Sea-Doo Jet Skis, three Seabobs and two e-foil boards sit alongside a waterslide, an inflatable climbing wall, paddleboards, wakeboards, water skis and scuba and snorkeling equipment.

A floating pool provides another option for spending time in the water without heading off on an excursion.

Outdoor living on the decks adds to the allure of the adventures among the waves and is spread across multiple levels, with a sundeck Jacuzzi, bar, and BBQ creating an ambient setting for relaxed days onboard.

A Two-Year Reimagining by Patrick Knowles

The move into new cruising grounds follows two years in which motor yacht charter AS YOU WISH was reimagined by designer Patrick Knowles.

Her welcoming interiors have benefited from the multi-million-dollar refit, with her skylounge now offering a new lease of life for charter guests wanting to spend time on board in opulent comfort.
