Stepping on board the 50m (164ft) motor yacht OURANOS at the Mediterranean Yacht Show 2023, the team at YachtCharterFleet got the inside track behind one of the most popular charter yachts on the fleet.
One of the most silent yachts certified by the Rina Classification Society, and filled to the brim with a swathe of luxury amenities, superyacht OURANOS promises to treat charter guests to an altogether unique cruising experience.
Named after the primordial God of the sky, superyacht OURANOS perfectly embodies the Greek view of beauty and light contained inside of a vast space.
Delivered to her experienced owner in 2016, OURANOS is the first in the C Force 50 range from Admiral. Motivated by the desire to optimise the amount of light which enlivens the interior, the range sets itself apart with a two-level central window opening up the main and upper decks.
Along with such a revolutionary design, the abundance of features found around her interior and exterior make the motor yacht truly spectacular.
Defined as ‘luxuriously simple’, the interior on board superyacht OURANOS was styled by Italian architect Gian Marco Campanino together with Admiral Centro Stile, with the mantra 'less is more' forming the basis for the interior design that runs throughout the whole yacht, with pure lines and a subtle colour scheme.
Despite the deliberate lack of extravagance, high-end furnishings and precious materials such as natural leather abound, creating an atmosphere of casual elegance in which guests can truly relax. But, with such generous glazing, the real focus is on whatever heavenly cruising grounds are outside.
Nowhere is this more apparent than in the main salon, accessed through the double doors on the main deck aft. Wooden floorboards run underfoot, contrasting the ivory suede panels of the ceiling and walls, the latter of which intersperse an expanse of floor-to-ceiling windows.

Two light grey sofas with charcoal and lead-coloured scatter cushions face each other to form a seating area. Inspired by the name OURANOS – the Greek god of the heavens – and the idea of constellations, reflective surfaces have been added across the yacht, and one example is seen in the mirrored stack of coffee tables that complete the scene.
Further forward is a marble-topped dining table surrounded by modern grey chairs. Up to 12 people can be seated here for formal dinner parties, looked over by a colourful painting on the end bulwark, which injects a sense of vibrancy into the neutral surrounds.
Little can be done, however, to compete with the stunning views visible through the windows, which provide a sharp contrast to the understated interior and allow natural light to flood inside.
Spanning across the forward section of the main deck is the master suite. A door to starboard leads off the main foyer and opens onto a private office, which can also serve as a dressing table.
Unlike the main salon, the suite is full-beam and there is an immediate sense of spaciousness when stepping into the sleeping quarters. A large bed faces aft towards a widescreen TV, a chaise lounge provides a place to rest to starboard and a desk is located to port.
Taupe suede panels line the walls, the desk is wrapped in brown shagreen and similar shades appear in the upholstery. Overall, this creates a sensuous, tranquil retreat for the principal charterer, with the emphasis again on the amazing views, this time seen through vertical portholes.
There is also a large walk-in closet, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom clad in white marble and featuring his and hers sinks, as well as a huge shower with an aromatherapy setting adding to the indulgent experience.
Ensuring that superyacht OURANOS is accessible to each and every charter guest that steps on board, a beautifully styled glass elevator has been installed to reach the various deck spaces.
Stylish as well as functional, this feature blends in beautifully with the bright textures and tones which surround it.
This glass elevator in the marble-floored foyer provides access to the lower deck guest cabins, which include three double cabins and two convertible cabins each with a Pullman berth. With her flexible accommodation arrangement, OURANOS can sleep up to 12 guests.
Styling cues are taken from the master suite, with the reappearance of taupe suede wall panels, matching taupe and gold accents in the bed linen, and shagreen leather desks.
Differences can be found in the en-suites, however, due to the use of darker brown marbles and stripy wood panels in the heads.
The elevator also reaches the upper deck foyer, where there is a full-height, multi-coloured figurine of a couple dancing the tango. After this welcome, guests can enter the aft section of the deck for a choice of areas suitable for both privacy and socialising.
OURANOS’ signature glazing flanks the space, and the feel is light, airy and even more relaxed than the salon below. A huge U-shaped sofa wraps around a glass square coffee table, facing an artwork decorated in butterflies, which slides across to reveal a widescreen TV.

Moving aft, two games tables are situated to port and starboard. The space then narrows into a second, more intimate lounge area complete with a marble-topped bar lined with bar stools and two high-back armchairs. A large colourful piece of art adorns the wall for extra interest.
The collection of artworks, as well as the glass figurines, some of which are displayed in glass cabinets on the main deck, are all decorative without being overly fussy and are all part of Campanino’s efforts to create OURANOS’ very own art collection.
With broad walkways providing access to the numerous sections, the exterior of superyacht OURANOS is equipped with all of the features necessary to enjoy the water in style.
The main deck aft, for example, is home to a spacious lounging area furnished with generously sized and softly textured seating.
Highly spacious and stocked with luxury features, the exterior of superyacht OURANOS ensures charter guests get the most out of their cruising grounds
An assortment of gymnasium equipment can be brought together to create the most exciting environment for a healthy workout. Indeed, what better way to stretch your muscles than to do so by looking out across the ocean?
Altogether, this exterior space is superbly multi-functional, allowing guests to enjoy the facilities however they desire from sunrise to sunset.
Ensuring that the exterior flows elegantly around the large windows, the team at Unielle Yacht Design have conjured lines which produce a sleek and iconic profile sure to turn heads when she’s underway and at-anchor.
Optimising the amount of space which can be used by guests, the foredeck has been given over to tender storage to allow the sundeck and beach club to remain totally uncluttered.
The sundeck is sure to form the central area for charter guests to relax and socialise around during the day, with a number of thoughtfully placed amenities making it ideal both whilst cruising and at anchor.
Perhaps the crowning achievement of the sundeck, however, is the retractable television fitted above the Jacuzzi. With a two-sided screen, this feature is capable of entertaining the guests gathered in the pool whilst at the same time entertaining those unwinding on the furnishings behind it.
What’s more, with the bar only a short distance away, those taking a soak in the sun are able to remain easily refreshed throughout the day.
At the amidships area of the sundeck, and situated beneath plenty of shading, a large table forms an alfresco dining area for the entire party to gather around to enjoy their meals with stunning views.
With recessed lighting lining this dining space, it’s totally possible to remain seated after dinner to enjoy coffees or cocktails in the inviting evening climate of her cruising grounds.
Just like the finishing touches found elsewhere on board superyacht OURANOS, all of the cutlery and surrounding fixtures are finished in calming colours and patterns.
Of course, the beach club belonging to superyacht OURANOS is one of her most defining attractions. The perfect place to unwind whilst at-anchor, the open area is easily accessed and sheltered to provide the most comfortable experience possible.
This area benefits from retractable balconies on all sides, offering beautiful over-water terraces prefect for massages, yoga or simply relaxing and enjoying being close to nature.
Of course, no yacht would be complete without a toy chest, and OURANOS is certainly no slouch in that department, offering everything from Seabobs with video capability and Jet Surfs to a fabulous inflatable water slide. Furthermore, she also offers a 2-person mini submarine for charter guests holding a valid scuba diving certification, as well as a range of onshore toys.
If that wasn't enough, OURANOS comes equipped with a huge 14-meter Technohull Omega chase tender, perfect for day-long excursions around secluded bays and shallow lagoons away from the mothership.
With an enclosed area found behind sliding glass doors, guests are also able to take themselves back into an interior space to fully dry off and sip on some refreshments. For those desiring a workout, there is also a collection of gymnasium equipment on hand to provide an alternative fitness space to the one found on the sundeck.
All in all, superyacht OURANOS is just as the ancient Greeks once imagined the sky, with all of her bright beauty ushering in a world of calm to all who step on board.
