Fort Lauderdale gears up for a spectacular event as the world's biggest on-water boat show makes a return for its 62nd edition.

Following on from a successful COVID-secure event back in 2020, FLIBS is once again taking over Florida with an impressive collection of over 1,500 boats in all categories to whet the appetite of all nautical enthusiasts.

Attracting record-breaking amounts of visitors each year, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show covers over 3 million square feet of exhibition space with over 600 exhibitors showcasing their latest and most innovative products.

One show, seven locations

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show covers six different locations which all offer a different aspect to the prestigious event.

Travelling in between the locations is seamless thanks to the provision of complementary water taxis which have convenient pick up points. Access to the exclusive Superyacht Village is also provided by water taxi which can be picked up from the Bahia Mar Yachting Center.

The seven locations are:

  • Bahia Mar Yachting Center
  • Hall of Fame Marina
  • Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center /Sailfish Pavilion
  • Pier 66 Marina
  • Las Olas Marina
  • SuperYacht Village at Pier 66 South

Superyacht Village

Launched in 2019 during the diamond anniversary edition, the Superyacht Village has been a huge success from the start and continues to become a fundamental element of the historic event.

With a capacity to accommodate yachts measuring up to 400ft (121 metres), the village continues to expand the number of berths available, allowing guests to see the best possible selection from the growing market.

Some of the vessels being showcased in the exclusive village will be stars of the show listing, with some also making their esteemed show debut.

In addition to the close encounters with the magnificent vessels, the Superyacht Marina also provides the chance for networking with industry professionals and other influential parties for future business.

Getting social

The social scene also forms an essential part of the Superyacht Village with private restaurant facilties and a VIP lounge area. Relax in a luxurious environment with premium facilities and flowing champagne.

Shopping with friends or associates is also on the cards with a hand picked selection of prestige luxury brands who offer a selection of jewellery, fashion, gadgets, trinkets and nautical equipment.
