Fresh from delivery at Turquoise Yachts’ facilities in Pendik, Istanbul, 288ft (88m) superyacht charter ANGELIQUE has officially claimed her title as the largest yacht ever built in Turkey, marking a defining moment for both the Turkish shipbuilding industry and the future of large-scale luxury yacht charters in the Mediterranean.
Formerly known as NB74 Project VENTO, the flagship Turquoise Yachts yacht rental completed her sea trials in the Sea of Marmara on 24 April, ahead of her highly anticipated inaugural charter season in summer 2026.
Built across five expansive decks and spanning an impressive 2,550GT, charter yacht ANGELIQUE represents a major milestone for Turquoise Yachts as the shipyard continues to strengthen its position within the competitive 70m-plus superyacht sector.
The delivery of charter yacht ANGELIQUE is more than the arrival of a new superyacht charter on the global market; it is a showcase of the capability, craftsmanship, and growing influence of Turkish yacht construction on the world stage.
As the largest yacht ever launched and delivered from Turkey, ANGELIQUE demonstrates how far the country’s shipyards have progressed in the creation of technically ambitious, design-led superyachts capable of competing with established Northern European builders.
Her exterior styling, penned by long-time Turquoise collaborator H2 Yacht Design, combines elegant proportions with commanding presence. Defined by a distinctive Tour de France-inspired blue hull, sculpted detailing, and a powerful profile, motor yacht charter ANGELIQUE delivers a contemporary aesthetic designed to stand out across the Mediterranean’s most prestigious cruising grounds.
Turquoise Yachts CEO Burak Akgül described the project as a reflection of the “expertise, dedication, and passion” invested throughout the build process, with the yacht setting a new benchmark for the Turkish superyacht industry.
As the second, and largest, of five custom yachts derived from our 80-meter platform, ANGELIQUE unequivocally marks a new standard of our ability.
Purpose-built for immersive luxury yacht charters in the French Riviera and beyond, ANGELIQUE has been carefully designed around the evolving expectations of modern charter guests, with a strong emphasis on wellness, entertainment, and seamless indoor-outdoor living.
One of the yacht’s defining features is her enclosed drive-in tender dock, a facility rarely seen on yachts below the 100m category. Opening directly into a sprawling beach club with fold-down sea terraces on either side, the setup creates an exceptional waterside lifestyle hub for guests spending extended periods at anchor.
Above, a glass-fronted swimming pool forms the social centerpiece of the main deck, while skylights filter natural light through to the beach club below, creating a striking architectural connection between the yacht’s exterior leisure spaces.
The owner’s deck further enhances the onboard experience with a flexible indoor-outdoor dining and entertaining area, alongside a private terrace complete with recessed lounge seating and a Jacuzzi overlooking the bow.
Also on board, the certified touch-and-go helipad transforms into a full basketball court, adding another multi-functional element to a charter yacht already geared toward active, experience-driven charter vacations in the West Mediterranean.
The finished yacht is a true reflection of the quality, craftsmanship, and design vision delivered by all involved.
As demand grows for wellness-led charter experiences, ANGELIQUE arrives on the market with an impressive collection of spa and health-focused amenities designed for extended time on board.
Highlights are reported to include:
- Fully equipped panoramic gym
- Dedicated wellness suite
- Sauna and hammam
- Beauty treatment room
- Private owner’s Jacuzzi terrace
Occupying much of the bridge deck, the wellness areas are designed to rival those found in luxury resorts, reinforcing the increasing shift toward lifestyle-focused superyacht charters.
Although official interior photography has yet to be released, Turquoise Yachts has confirmed that ANGELIQUE features richly layered interiors by H2 Yacht Design, inspired by contemporary Art Deco styling.
Throughout the yacht, sculptural detailing, blue accents, and glamorous finishes are expected to create an atmosphere that balances lively social spaces with quieter areas of retreat.
The main salon features a statement bar, a circular lounge arrangement, and a formal dining table accommodating up to 16 guests, while a dramatic central atrium topped by a skylight introduces natural light throughout the interior spaces.
A suspended glass sculpture by renowned artist Dale Chihuly is set to become one of the yacht’s defining interior focal points.
Accommodation welcomes up to 12 guests across seven cabins, with guest suites positioned on the main deck to maximize natural light and ocean views.
The full-beam owner’s suite occupies a privileged forward position on the private owner’s deck and includes a lounge, office, dressing rooms, and direct access to a private terrace with a Jacuzzi.
Additional accommodation includes two VIPs and a selection of four guest cabins, each designed with its own individual styling and personality.
Combined with the extensive social spaces, the layout of ANGELIQUE has been tailored for both larger guest groups and family yacht charters seeking privacy without sacrificing connection to the opulent onboard lifestyle.
Following her successful sea trials, charter yacht ANGELIQUE is now preparing for her inaugural Mediterranean yacht charter season, with itineraries expected to span Croatia, Turkey, and the South of France, and the charter routes of Greece.
Her combination of expansive wellness amenities, dramatic architectural design, and record-breaking pedigree positions her among the most anticipated new superyachts entering the charter fleet for 2026.
With early charter enquiries already underway, ANGELIQUE looks set to become one of the defining new additions to the East and West Mediterranean charter markets, while simultaneously cementing her place in Turkish yachting history.
