By Editorial Team   13 May 2015

The 2015 Mediterranean Yacht Show, held from 2-6 May in Nafplio, Greece has been a triumphant success in its second year.

The event, which is a targeted trade show for professionals, is the main yachting event that seeks to display the crème de la crème of highly professional yachts and crews in this part of the world. Organisers were delighted with the sheer calibre of participants this year as well as a resounding level of attendance. This year, it played host to 67 crewed yachts, 242 yacht brokers from all over the world and 17 stands that featured yachting services and supplies.

The opening ceremony was a lavish affair, taking place at the medieval fortress of Palamidi which overlooks the harbour of Nafplion.

The organisation of the show was a joint effort by the Greek Yachting Association (GYA), the municipality of Nafplion and the Peloponnese region and was carried out under the remit of the Ministry of Economy, Infrastructure, Shipping & Tourism.

The Mediterranean Yacht Show is the perfect opportunity for brokers to view an array of yachts, sample the food and get specific information from captains and crew alike.
