Hosted by the Greek Yacht Association in the seaport town of Nafplion, the 2nd edition of the Mediterranean Yacht Show promises to showcase some of the finest luxury yachts available for charters in the region. New Greek Alternate Tourism Minister, Elena Kountoura, recently met with organisers to pledge her support to helping make the trade-only event 'bigger and better' than the inaugural show.
Particularly noteworthy is the attendance of 72m Golden Yachts superyacht 'O'Pari 3,' who is expected to make her debut at the event. Other attendees of note in Greece include sister ships to O'Pari 3, 54m M/Y O'Rama and 53m M/Y O'Neiro alongside the popular 45m charter yacht Ouranos.
One of the most impressive open yachts for charter, 31m Azimut yacht DUKE has also been announced as one the attending vessels, as well as 33m motor yacht POLLUX.
The 55m superyacht INSIGNIA is additionally an attendee of interest, as she did not make it to last year's event, following her expression of interest.
Professionals from across the industry will be in attendance to inspect the range of charter yachts on display to further their expertise in making informed recommendations of vessels to charter clients. The MEDYS 2015 will feature a Chef Competition so can chefs on board the attending fleet can highlight their culinary prowess to a wide audience.
