An incredible selection of charter yachts are in the running to take home a much-coveted Neptune trophy at next month’s World Superyacht Awards.
Taking place on May 14 in Florence, Italy, the 11th edition of the World Superyacht Awards will recognise the finest luxury yachts launched in 2015.
With a total of 12 categories, the prestigious awards pay tribute to the incredible innovation and ingenuity demanded from the construction, design and engineering of all the nominations.
Feadship’s striking new-build superyacht SYMPHONY will go head-to-head with superyacht IDYNASTY in the ‘Displacement Motor Yacht 2999GT and Above’ category.
The five finalists in the ‘Displacement Motor Yachts 1,300GT - 2999GT’ category, meanwhile, are solely charter yachts. These include Turkey-based Sunrise Yachts’ superyacht IRIMARI, superyacht ‘O’Pari 3’ from Sunrise Yachts and the German Abeking & Rasmussen’s superyacht ROMEA.
Also nominated for this award is superyacht SAVANNAH, the world's first hybrid superyacht from Feadship, and the Italian shipyard Tankoa Yachts’ superyacht SUERTE.
Elsewhere, sailing yacht ATALANTE and sailing yacht NIKATA, from Claasen Shipyards and Baltic Yachts respectively, are representing charter yachts in the ‘Sailing Yachts 30m to 39.99m’ category.
