Greece

Making wide use of local vegetables, grains, fish, and meat, Greek cookery is what many would widely consider the “flavours of the Mediterranean”.

The standout ingredient in all Greek cuisine is olive oil, which is produced from the prominent groves of olive trees that pepper the region. While this does add a distinctive flavour, it is also fresh and fragrant herbs used to season Greek dishes. Traditional foods change from region to region and are quite diverse, making it difficult to represent the culture there. However, below we’ve provided a list of restaurants, bars, and tavernas that we believe showcase the style and flavour of Greece perfectly.
