The 2020 Antigua Charter Yacht Show will be celebrating its 59th instalment in December, bringing a fleet of superyachts and key players from the yachting industry together in the Caribbean for the annual yachting meet.
Spanning six days in December, the industry-only event will be taking place in three different locations on the Caribbean island of Antigua.
Between 50-70 superyachts will be on display between Nelson's Dockyard, Falmouth Harbour and the Antigua Yacht Club Marina.
All of the yachts at the show are available for luxury yacht charters, presenting an excellent opportunity for brokers to get some first-hand insight into the Caribbean fleet.
Held in the first week of December, the event is a mainstay in the calendar for professionals in the superyacht and brokerage industries. The yachts in attendance will open their doors and welcome attendees for exclusive tours, networking events and social functions.
Showgoers will have the opportunity to meet the yachts’ captains and crew, who will provide invaluable insight into what the charter fleet can offer. With this information, brokers will be equipped with all information about amenities and facilities on board to better match their clients with the ideal superyacht.
The event is certain to entertain the attendees with its laid back atmosphere, divine location, and glittering social programme.
The final day will bring with it a sail day, where the yachts on show will participate on a cruise through Caribbean waters and invite brokers onboard for a ‘micro-charter’ around Antigua. In doing so, they will provide these brokers with a deeper understanding of what potential clients can expect.
As ever, the highly anticipated chef’s competition will see a battle royal of superyacht chefs going head to head to prove who can provide the most decadent three-course meal in record time, while still working within the theme of the competition.
Attendees can also expect to be thoroughly entertained by the event’s crew competitions, showcasing the masterful talents of attending yacht crew and ending with a prize-giving ceremony and champagne reception at Admirals Inn in Nelson Dockyard.
