What to expect at the 2019 Palm Beach International Boat Show

By Katia Damborsky   21 March 2019

In one week, West Palm Beach will be a hive of activity as boating enthusiasts and industry professionals flock to the 34th edition of the Palm Beach International Boat Show.

Running between 28-31 March at West Palm Beach along South Flagler Drive, the 2019 Palm Beach Boat Show will be showcasing over 200 boats alongside a number of exhibitors and manufacturers.

As one of Florida’s biggest boat shows, the event is an excellent opportunity for potential buyers to browse a wide selection of old and new boats for sale.

In addition, it is a mainstay in the calendar for the global yachting industry, and provides an excellent opportunity for show-attendees  to network and meet new people.

This year promises an exciting spectrum of vessels, ranging from sportfishers and pleasure cruisers to sailing vessels and luxury motor yachts. As ever, the line-up will include a significant selection of boats available for yachting vacations; read our selection of the must-see charter yachts at the show.

The largest yacht confirmed to attend is Abeking and Rasmussen’s 2012 build, the 61m/197ft motor yacht ‘Excellence V’. Available both for sale and private yacht charters, she is sure to turn plenty of heads with her considerable size and sleek navy hull.

This year promises an exciting spectrum of vessels, ranging from sportfishers and pleasure cruisers to sailing vessels and luxury motor yachts.

Recent additions to the line-up include the 57m/190ft superyacht SKYFALL from Trinity Yachts and the 2004-built, 53m/174ft luxury yacht MIZU. Both yachts are stand-out members of the charter fleet, available across the Caribbean in hotspots such as the Virgin Islands and Antigua. If MIZU looks familiar, it’s perhaps because she is the superyacht star of Taylor Swift’s End Game music video, shot on location in Miami.

However, she is not the only famous face on the line-up. There are also a number of superyachts in attendance from the hit Bravo reality TV show Below Deck; read our complete round-up of all the Below Deck yachts at the 2019 Palm Beach Boat Show.

Other stand-out superyachts attending the 2019 show are Feadship's 50m/165ft motor yacht BROADWATER and a highly popular 2016 launch from Amels; the 55m/180ft motor yacht ELIXIR.
