It has been reported that a brand new Bravo spin-off, tentatively named ‘Below Deck Sailing Vessel’, is coming soon, and YachtCharterFleet can exclusively reveal the sailing yacht believed to be the star of season one.

Under the working title ‘Below Deck Sailing Vessel’, the brand new series will give viewers a glimpse into the high-pressure life of crew members working private yacht charters on a sailing yacht.

This exciting addition to the franchise will be filmed around the island-studded waters of Greece; from the party hub of Mykonos to the iconic coastal village of Santorini.

Hosting the crew and their guests, YachtCharterFleet can exclusively reveal that the superstar charter yacht of season one is believed to be the 54m/177ft sailing yacht ‘Parsifal III’.

'Below Deck Sailing Vessel' is expected to showcase some of the finest sailing yachts on the international charter fleet. Built by the highly esteemed Italian shipyard Perini Navi, Parsifal III boasts pedigree craftsmanship coupled with excellent on-board facilities.

The luxury sailing yacht has a number of stand-out amenities that are sure to delight guests on the show, including a deck jacuzzi, spacious beach club and hydraulic swim platform that allows meals to be enjoyed at water level.

She provides accommodation for a total of 12 guests across five cabins, and her interiors are a refined and contemporary blend of glossy ebony surfaces and elegant lighting.

The superyacht is sure to turn plenty of heads around Greece during filming. From the beaches of Zakynthos to the ancient ruins of Naxos, there are plenty of enviable destinations on the itinerary for season one.

This is the first time the Below Deck franchise has branched away from multi-million motor yachts, and the sailing vessel component of the new series is expected to add even more drama and excitement to the new Bravo series.

This is partly due to the fact that the design of luxury sailing yachts creates far more confined crew areas than we are used to seeing on the original Below Deck. While the season six star of Below Deck, the 56m/184ft motor yacht 'My Seanna' features five sweeping decks, Parsifal III has just three slender decks.

The sailing vessel component of the new series is expected to add even more drama and excitement to the new Bravo series.

Sailing yachts generally feature smaller galleys, compact stew stations and cramped crew quarters which are in closer proximity to the guests’ living areas,  putting crew under increased pressure to deliver their signature silver service.

In addition, deck crew are placed in a far more demanding role, with sailing yachts requiring increased accuracy and precision to safely maneuver and plenty of deck duties taking place in the midst of guest areas.

The superyacht is sure to turn plenty of heads around Italy during filming.

While the new reality series will feature a whole host of new crew, new destinations and a brand new, never-before-seen type of superyacht, it is expected to draw in high rankings across the network.

Below Deck Mediterranean follows close behind in popularity, averaging 2.4 million viewers per episode and reporting double-digit growth for its second season.

The fourth season of Below Deck Mediterranean is expected to air in May, and will include familiar faces such as Captain Sandy Yawn, Chief Stewardess Hannah Ferrier and fan favourite Colin Macy-O’Toole returning as deckhand, alongside Joao Franco.

Greece luxury yacht charters

A yacht charter vacation in Greece offers boundless opportunities for exploration and discovery, with plenty of island clusters that each have their own signature atmosphere. The Cyclades lie south of the mainland, and they are generally the most popular stop-off for superyacht charters. The beating heart of the Cyclades is Mykonos, with its vibrant entertainment scene and fashion ateliers lining the streets. Next door is serene Santorini, with its blissfully beautiful cliffside town overlooking the sparkling sea.

Those looking for pristine beaches backed by aromatic pine forests should look no further than the the Ionian Islands, where guests will love in back with the laid-back atmosphere and boutique shops that engulf Ithica and find time to rebalance and relax in Corfu.
