Below Deck's new adrenalin-fuelled spin-off set to air this Autumn

By Nina Done   12 September 2022

Avid fans of Bravo’s successful reality show are in for a treat, as its latest iteration, Below Deck Adventure, is all about extreme thrills with the usual dose of high drama thrown in. This series takes place against the wild and breathtakingly beautiful backdrop of the glacial Norwegian fjords where the physical demands of cold weather and unparalleled pressures are set to test the limits of both guests and crew to the maximum.

Dubbed by Bravo as its “biggest, baddest, bravest adventure we’ve yet to embark on”, this one-of-a-kind-spin-off will feature a slew of action-packed drama; from plunging into ice pools to biking hairpin roads and daredevil helicopter rides to a fashion show in the caves, fans and thrill-seekers alike are sure not be disappointed.

The action will centre around the fully custom 50m (164ft) Amels superyacht MERCURY, helmed by experienced Australian Captain Kerry Titherage, who heads up the cast for this season’s show. As well as offering the trip-of-a-lifetime in the stunning Scandinavian surrounds, the format follows the highly successful upstairs/downstairs theme that the hit series has become synonymous with, promising all the usual shenanigans happening below deck, with the Captain offering us the tantalising teaser that he and the crew "kind of start the show with a bang”.

Superyacht MERCURY

Delivered in 2001 as part of Amels’ Tigre d’Or series, the yacht has since been extensively refitted by Reymond Langton Design and is the epitome of superyacht luxury offering a timeless appeal where guests can relax and kick back in the yacht’s warm and contemporary interiors, with a bevy of high-end amenities to enjoy during their downtime on board.

Accommodation is provided for 12 guests in 5 cabins, comprising a master suite with private salon and study areas, 2 VIP cabins and 2 twin cabins each with Pullman berths offering fabulous flexibility for a variety of charter configurations.
