Abacos in the Bahamas rebuilt and ready to welcome yacht charters

By Nina Done   14 April 2021

The Abacos islands in the Bahamas have been working tirelessly to rebuild the damage inflicted by Hurricane Dorian in September 2019, the efforts of which had been further hampered by recent COVID-19 restrictions. The majority of the popular hotspots for yacht charters around this stunning sun-drenched archipelago are now open – with many in the process of reopening – and all stand ready to welcome yachts wishing to cruise their enticing blue waters once more.

It was devastating, but so much has happened since then.

Cruising around the Abacos

The Abacos is an island chain covering 120 miles of brilliant blue waters surrounding exquisite paradisiacal islands fringed by soft powder-fine white sand beaches; perfectly tailor-made for yacht charters.

Explore the islands' bountiful nature, unique history and culture, or dive amongst colourful coral sea gardens and fascinating wreck sites.
