The finalists for the ninth annual World Superyacht Awards have been announced and include 62 of the finest new builds delivered in 2013, including a large number of luxury superyachts which have joined the Global Charter Fleet.
Taking place on 3rd May at the National Maritime Museum in Amsterdam, the winners of the World Superyacht Awards will receive a highly coveted Neptune trophy which will be presented to them during a gala evening and prize giving ceremony.
The judging will be conducted by an independent panel comprising of 20 yacht owners and two industry players at the exclusive Kitzbühel Country Club in Austria during the Superyacht Symposium in February. The results will then be kept under lock and key until the night of the award ceremony.
With the support of Amels, Feadship, Heesen, Holland Jachtbouw, Royal Husiman, and the newly confirmed gold sponsor Embraer Executive Jets, guests attending the event are encouraged to prolong their stay in Amsterdam to make the most of the full weekend programme of glamourous social events, cultural activities and shipyard tours.
The charter yachts that have been selected as finalists include the 88 metre Lurssen superyacht QUATTROELLE, the 72 metre motor yacht AXIOMA and the 60 metre Amels motor yacht EVENT. The full list of charter yachts selected as finalists can be found below:
