Often starting at sunrise, these are a fantastic way to see a mixture of forests, seaside villages and streams away from the hustle and bustle in the centre of Marmaris as well as taking in the views from the winding roads that lead into the mountains. Then, after an energetic day exploring, there’s no better way to wind down than a traditional Turkish hammam. Quieter beaches can be found in Icmeler as well some charming waterfront eateries, and the beautifully scenic and mountainous setting of Turunc is great for relaxation.
