19 - 23 Jun 2018
Europe’s longest running superyacht regatta will be back on 19th June 2018, presenting four days of spectacular racing against the idyllic city backdrop of Palma de Mallorca.
Renowned for its warm atmosphere and fierce racing, the Superyacht Cup Palma is one of the most hotly anticipated events on the Mediterranean’s superyacht regatta circuit.
Three days of racing in the Bay of Palma, Mallorca, unites sailors from all corners of the globe, with the camaraderie on board and between boats always reigning supreme. Plus, the regatta will incorporate three days of J Class racing alongside the superyacht division.
Some of the most legendary sailing yachts on the regatta scene have signed up to compete at the upcoming edition, with newcomers and veterans alike taking up the limited 20 berths in the regatta village.
As in previous editions, there will be a number of participants that also serve as charter yachts. Last year, for example, the 32m/105ft charter yacht BOLERO clinched a well-deserved overall victory and the Bolero Yachts build will be returning in 2018 to retain her title.
The regatta also puts on an exciting social programme with a Pendennis paddleboard challenge and the annual SYC dock party among the highlights. A prize-giving ceremony will then conclude proceedings on the final day of the racing meet.
