Cipriani Yas Island

At Cipriani, fine dining is married with an F1 edge, offering an upscale location to dine and enjoy the races during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The perfect vantage point to look out over the action, Cipriani offers a luxurious and elegant setting to enjoy award-winning and authentic Italian dishes.

A celebrity favorite, Cipriani has spent years curating its meticulously crafted menu, which features delicacies including veal milanese, burrata truffle pizza, and homemade gelato with chocolate sauce and succulent cherries. Attention to detail is reflected in the perfectly-plated meals, world-class service, and carefully chosen entertainment which steals the show in the evenings.

The Scene by Simon Rimmer

With UK celebrity chef Simon Rimmer at the helm, the Scene will be bringing gastronomic delights to Abu Dhabi, with an opening date to coincide with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The menu will be quintessentially English, but will also boast inspired and innovative dishes to cater to everyone.

For the discerning G+T lovers, The Scene will be home to a botanist garden, with gin-based cocktails and inventive flavour infusions available to sample. With an innovative menu featuring seasonal ingredients, gourmet classics and appetizing twists, the Scene will be no doubt be a hit, particularly with its acoustic music performances creating a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.

Aquarium

Offering incredible views over the marina and a buzzing ambience to match the setting, Aquarium specialises in exquisite seafood dishes with exotic twists. Perfect for longtime fish fans or those who are open to being converted, the restaurant uses only the freshest catches to create the mouthwatering meals on its menu.

With its outdoor veranda, the restaurant is perfectly primed for those who want to soak up the pre-race atmosphere over cocktails and a meal. The atmosphere may be lively, but it’s also laid-back and convivial, and when the sun goes down diners can enjoy music from DJs and saxophonists while they eat.

Mr Miyagi’s

Already recognised as an award-winning venue for phenomenal food and unbeatable entertainment in Dubai, the infamous Mr Miyagi’s is coming to Abu Dhabi, with an opening night on 22nd November. Mouthwatering Thai street food is the order of the day, with flexible portion sizes available to allow diners to sample as much as they can. All of your favourite Thai dishes can be found on the menu, some of which boast fresh flavour infusions that marry traditional Asian cooking with bold twists.

At night, the eatery will transform into one of the hottest party venues on Yas Island, with an electric atmosphere and a show-stopping combination of music and lights. Book ahead if you can, since this the opening night will coincide almost perfectly with the start of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Diablito

Select from an expansive menu of tasty dishes at Diablito, a relaxed eatery with a focus on combining flavours from different cultures to create a fresh take on Mediterranean fusion.  Enjoy Spanish-style tapas, fiery fajitas or authentic Italian pizzas in a friendly and laid-back setting overlooking Yas Marina. 

 Grab one of the tables on the terrace or the roof, since these offer the most spectacular views of the superyachts lined up along the dock. This area is particularly popular in the evenings, when the venue transforms into a buzzing hive of activity with pop-up events and takeovers by DJ's and nightlife organisers. Soak up the lively energy with one of Diablito's specialty cocktails, from zingy refreshers to fruity fixes.

Iris

Although better known for being one of Abu Dhabi’s chicest nightlife venues, Iris also serves up an incredible selection of contemporary gourmets delights. An eclectic mix of international cuisine makes up the sophisticated menu. Favourites include mains such as Mediterranean pan-fried sea bass and char-grilled Angus fillet and the tarte tatin with caramelised pears and ginger for afters. The artisan cocktail menu also proves popular among punters.

Not only will diners be impressed with the delectable dishes, but they will also be wowed by the trendy interior, which mixes industrial lamps, large comfortable sofas and wooden high tables. Live music spun by house DJs adds to the charmingly cool vibes and make the lounge and restaurant a go-to venue for the post-work crowd. Be sure to stick around after dinner to see the bar and restaurant morph into a vibrant nightlife spot.      

Stars ‘N’ Bars

For the best American and Tex-Mex style cuisine in town, don’t miss Monte Carlo export Stars ‘N’ Bars. Offering more than your average sports bar, the venue embodies all the vibrancy and glamour of its Monaco counterpart and keeps drawing in hungry patrons with its extensive menu and large portions, which have proved to be crowd-pleasers for all ages.

Diners can tuck into brunch from 11.30am to 4pm and return for mouth-watering mains such as classic burgers, wings, ribs, nachos, fajitas, steaks and salads. Happy hour deals and quiz and games night provide even more reason to stick around once dinner is over and the atmosphere revs up another notch most days from 10pm when live bands take to the stage.

Since its recent opening, Boroughs has become popular spot for hearty breakfasts and light bites with a healthy twist. Conveniently located next to Yas Marina's fitness centre, the restaurant-cafe hybrid has amassed a loyal following of regular customers who come for the expertly-brewed coffee and stay for the homely comforts.

Visitors to Yas Marina should make Boroughs their first port of call for a freshly-blended smoothie or flavour-packed protein shake. Choose from one of the comfortable tables and enjoy a relaxed and friendly vibe, with soft seating, brick walls and an exposed ceiling contributing to the atmosphere.
