Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes 2013 or Cannes Boats Show as it is also known is the first main show of the yacht season and a highlight of the yachting calendar.
Set to the stunning backdrop of the French Riviera, this world-renowned show features three huge exhibition areas accommodating up to 580 yachts including an impressive line-up from the global charter fleet. The yachts are exhibited on both water and land and attract around 46,000 visitors from around the world looking to inspect the latest products, designs, builds and refits.
More than 150 models will make their world debut at this year’s event which only adds to the electric atmosphere in the exclusive Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto. From sailing yachts to sports yachts, the show features the best that the luxury yacht industry has to offer including charter yachts such as the award winning 37m NORTHERN SPIRIT, the 48m Feadship AUDACIA and the 49m CUOR DI LEONE which recently appeared in US TV series ‘Below Deck’.
The Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes 2013 will as usual feature a number of social events hosted by the yacht owners, leading international brokerages and some of the world’s best known luxury brands.
