The French Riviera’s most glamorous event has been cancelled for 2020, with organizers following government guidelines surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.
The Cannes Film Festival was originally scheduled to run between 12 - 23 May 2020 at Vieux Port, Cannes but was cancelled as a direct response to legalities surrounding COVID-19.
As an annual highlight which largely influences yacht charter vacations in the Mediterranean, the prestigious event took on a different format by screening selected movies elsewhere, however the live event is currently scheduled to return in 2021.
