The 29th edition of the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta will take place from 13th to 19th April 2016, promising an extraordinary line-up of yachts competing against the backdrop of one of the Caribbean's most beautiful cruising grounds.
In total, up to 60 yachts are expected to compete in the 52-nautical-mile race around the island of Antigua. A wonderful variety of competitors is guaranteed, including the 42m/139ft superyacht Rebecca, who returns to the regatta after taking the top spot in last year’s Spirit of Tradition Class.
Another winner making her way back to the 2016 regatta will be the 32m/105ft superyacht Whitehawk, after four consecutive wins in Vintage Class A and taking home the Panerai Trophy for the second year in succession at last year’s event.
Organised by Officine Panerai, the Panerai Classic Yacht Challenge unites the world’s most magnificent classic sailing yachts at the iconic racing venues across the planet.
