Alongside his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and several other friends and members of his family, Cristiano Ronaldo is cruising around the Cote d’Azur on a private yacht charter.
St Tropez has long been one of the most impressive superyacht lures in the Western Mediterranean, and it seems that Ronaldo and his entourage are the latest A-listers to fall for the charms of this seaside enclave.
The group has spent the past few days soaking up some sun and some sights aboard ‘Africa I’, a 2010 launch from Italian shipyard Benetti that was most recently refitted in 2018.
The motor yacht is equipped with an incredible toy chest, which has proved popular with the Portuguese footballer and his friends. The group has made full use of the inflatable slide and electric surfboards.
The luxury yacht enjoys plenty of other toys and accessories, including Waverunners, Seabobs, Water-Skis and an inflatable jet-ski dock. Guests also have access to paddleboards and snorkelling equipment for more leisurely fun.
The seas in this region are perfect for cooling off and having a splash. There is also a vibrant underwater marine world that invites you to get up close with a variety of aquatic species.
Luxury yacht Africa I has plenty of dedicated spots for the group to top up their tans. The sundeck is home to a shaded seating area for convivial dining, a line-up of sunloungers and a spacious jacuzzi pool where Rodriguez posted a picture of her entwined with her footballer boyfriend.
Another popular tanning spot is the foredeck, where a spread of sunpads provides the perfect setting for lying back and basking in the South of France sun.
Africa I is a fantastic charter platform which boasts an array of modern amenities and luxurious on-board facilities. The interiors have been headed up by Zuretti, who have worked to create a timeless on-board atmosphere complete with warm and comforting touches.
The main salon features cream sofas with pops of turquoise blue, while the skylounge has a more neutral palette of light woods offset by green foliage. It is equipped with a sleek bar and second lounging option, leaving guests spoilt for choice when it comes to indoor relaxation.
The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins. The owner's suite is full-beam, and has access to a private portion of foredeck complete with a seating area.
Ronaldo visited Sass Cafe with the charter party. The venue in Monaco has long been popular with celebrities, promising an electric party atmosphere and a superb dining scene.
