Lürssen Superyacht SOLANDGE Eclipses the Port of Bonifacio

14th September 2015

On her arrival to the port of Bonifacio, on the south coast of Corsica, the 85-metre Lürssen superyacht SOLANDGE did not just dwarf the smaller yachts and fishing boats surrounding her... she in fact became the largest vessel in the port's history.

Luxury yacht SOLANDGE's grand stature almost blends with the early evenings darkening backdrop whilst her underwater LED lighting tricks the eye as a potential modern marina feature. However, a second look exposes her exquisite ‘Tree of Life’ light sculpture that extends 16 metres above the ports' tiny-looking apartments, consisting of more than 1,200 dazzling points of light.

Nestled amongst the smaller vessels, she proudly claims the title as one of the largest and most luxurious charter yachts on the market. Concealed from the quaint ports’ eyes she features a large swimming pool, fully equipped health spa, large elevator, wine cellar and an impressive removable sundeck dance floor; to name a few.

SOLANDGE’s majestic exterior is the work of celebrated Espen Oeino with harmonious lines that extend elegantly the length of the harbour front, whilst her stunning interior is the result of Rodriguez Interiors and Dolker & Voges. Granite and wooden surfaces along with sumptuous furnishing are exposed like a snapshot through the light-filled rooms in the evening twilight of Corsica.
