Discover Saint Nicholas Cathedral on a Monaco Luxury Yacht Charter

1st June 2015

Towering alongside the swaying palm trees of Colonel-Bellando-de-Castro in Monaco-Ville, you can find a Roman-Byzantine architectural wonder made crafted in stunning white stone - dedicated to Saint Nicholas. The Monaco Cathedral truly transports one back to 1875.

The marriage and burial place of Prince Rainier and Princess Grace and Monaco, adorned with Louis Bréa paintings from 1500 and the white marble the Episcopal throne of Carrara - the Monaco Cathedral provides the ideal cultural stop-off on a Monaco superyacht vacation.

From September to June every Sunday at 10am, “Les Petits Chanteurs de Monaco” and “Cathedral Choir” sing at an enchanting mass ceremony, starring the cathedral's stunning illuminating organ pipes.

Pontifical services take place on the major religious festivals such as the Feast Saint Devote (27th January) and the National Holiday (19th November).
