Postponed Bahamas Charter Yacht Show 2021 - now being hosted by Rybovic Marina

By Nina Done   25 February 2021

The Bahamas Charter Yacht Show, scheduled for late February 2021, has been postponed until 2022, instead this year’s show is being hosted by Rybovic Marina in West Palm Beach.

After much consideration by BCYS officials, the decision was made to postpone the trade-only show until 2022. “This was an extremely difficult decision”, says the 2021 Bahamas Charter Yacht Show’s chairman, Joe Dargavage. “The fact that we had almost all brokers having to come in internationally, was a huge part of the decision-making process”.

Two-day event - February 25 & 26

In lieu of the BCYS, a proposal was made by Rybovic Marina in West Palm Beach to hold the two-day event at their facility, providing a valuable opportunity to showcase the yachts to industry brokers under a controlled and safe environment.

Also in attendance are representatives from the Association of Bahamas Marinas and The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, who will use the event to take advantage of marketing opportunities in sharing itineraries and showcasing the islands and marinas that cater to the industry. They also aim to highlight yacht charter opportunities, as well as provide up-to-date travel information from around The Bahamas.

Following 2021, future Bahamas Charter Yacht Shows will be held annually in Nassau.
