Newly Delivered Lürssen Superyacht ODISEA Drops Anchor by London's Tower Bridge

By Katie Scott   18 March 2026

Fresh from delivery at Blumenthal on 13 March, the 255.11ft (78m) superyacht ODISEA has been sighted in London, marking one of the first public appearances of the newly completed yacht.

Previously known as Project ACE 21, ODISEA made a swift passage to the English capital following her delivery, where she dropped anchor near Tower Bridge in the late evening of 14 March.

While not currently available for charter, her arrival highlights the continued appeal of London as a destination for newly delivered superyachts and adds to the growing presence of high-profile vessels visiting the Thames.

A Closer Look at Superyacht ODISEA

Boasting five decks with a volume of approximately 2,500GT, ODISEA showcases the picture-perfect finish associated with Lürssen yacht charters, combining large-scale engineering with lifestyle-driven design.

Her exterior profile is defined by highly polished lines, expansive glazing for incredible views, and seamless connections between indoor and outdoor environments. The exterior deck spaces are complemented by shaded and open-air lounge areas, plus multiple alfresco dining setups.

Though interior details and her onboard amenities remain under wraps for the time being, some of her key features include a swim-up bar concept that's integrated into the main pool, alongside a glass-fronted upper deck pool positioned aft to maximize views.

A spacious swim platform further enhances ODISEA's connections to the water, with what appears to be fold-down waterside terraces, reinforcing the yacht’s focus on outdoor living even more.

Key exterior highlights include:

  • Five expansive decks with integrated sunpads
  • Glass-fronted pool and elevated Jacuzzi areas
  • Main deck pool with swim-up bar concept
  • Dedicated areas for sunbathing, lounging, and dining
  • Spacious swim platform with direct sea access and beach club

Although ODISEA is not part of the current fleet of motor yacht charters, her design reflects many of the qualities sought after in today’s luxury yacht charter market.

London’s Growing Appeal for Visiting Superyachts

The arrival of ODISEA continues a growing trend of newly launched and high-profile superyachts choosing London as a temporary stop following delivery or during repositioning voyages.

Anchoring near Tower Bridge offers superyachts and England yacht charters a striking contrast between historic architecture and contemporary yacht design, making it a popular location for superyachts passing through Northern Europe. The stretch of the River Thames surrounding the landmark has, in recent years, welcomed a number of notable yachts, often drawing attention from both industry insiders and the public who are visiting St Katharine's Docks and Tower Bridge itself.

For owners, London provides a unique backdrop and a globally recognized setting, while also offering access to high-end dining, cultural landmarks, and major international transport links.

Superyachts on the Thames: A Rare but Growing Sight

While the market for Caribbean and Mediterranean yacht charters continues to dominate the global charter offering, appearances such as ODISEA’s underline the increasing visibility of superyachts in alternative urban destinations.

Visits from luxury superyachts to London remain relatively rare due to logistical considerations, but they are becoming more frequent.

In October 2025, 400ft (122m) superyacht charter KISMET made a return visit to London, a year after she made headlines in 2024 as the largest superyacht to visit the capital in over a decade and the largest ever to berth at Tower Bridge.

As one of the world's largest yachts for charter, her presence on the Thames positioned her among the most significant yacht visits in the city’s history.

Maintaining her position ahead of KISMET, 414.1ft (126.2m) luxury yacht charter OCTOPUS has also previously been spotted in London, anchored at Canary Wharf during the London 2012 Olympics. With a gross tonnage of 9,932, yacht rental OCTOPUS ranks at number 15 in the YachtBuyer YB100 listing of the world's biggest yachts.

Other superyachts that have visited the famous city of London include 260.1ft (79.5m) superyacht VALOR who berthed in the South Quay area by Canary Wharf in October 2025, close to where the sanctioned 192ft (58.5m) superyacht PHI is located, and 163ft (49.68m) charter yacht TRITON in April 2024.
