With a build-up that kept the industry on its toes right up to the wire, the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show advocated pure luxury and indulgence throughout its four-day run, with visitors witnessing a spectacular array of luxury yacht charters.
Showcasing 116 superyachts, including 50 yacht rentals, the attending fleet of yachts at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show sported an average length of 158ft (48.17m) and included a staggering 80 debuts.
Even with a mixture of weather conditions throughout the show, visitors to Port Hercule enjoyed first-hand experience with some of the largest yachts for charter on the market and obtained valuable information and insights through the additional attractions like the Sustainability Hub.
With curated exhibitors dotted around the docks, the MYS featured some of the biggest names in the industry including Heesen, Lurssen, Oceanco, and Abeking & Rasmussen.
Continually delivering outstanding events year after year, the 2024 edition pulled out all the stops, leaving visitors gazing in wonder and demonstrating why Monaco has a reputation for being the most indulgent yacht show of them all.
A last-minute shakeup with 404.2ft (123.2m) superyacht GOLDEN ODYSSEY taking the place of 345.4ft (105.26m) luxury yacht H3 in the official lineup had the industry talking, as the crown for the longest yacht to ever attend the show was snatched from the captivating 400.3ft (122m) superyacht charter KISMET.
Maintaining her hold on the record for the longest charter yacht to attend, luxury rental KISMET, one of the most expensive yachts for charter, was a profound favorite around the pontoons, with many visitors posing for photographs with her iconic jaguar emblem.
Alongside KISMET and superyacht GOLDEN ODYSSEY, the trio of grandeur was completed with 367.5ft (112m) luxury yacht charter RENAISSANCE. Larger than KISMET, based on gross tonnage, yacht rental RENAISSANCE is one of only two Freire Shipyard yacht charters on the market, alongside 241.6ft (73.61m) motor yacht charter NAIA.
Elsewhere around the pontoons, many superyachts made a lasting impression on visitors to the show with 295.3ft (90m) luxury charter yacht DAR showcasing her newly completed refit, and 256.11ft (78.3m) superyacht PLATINUM making her global debut.
Other highlights included the unmistakable 191.3ft (58.3m) explorer yacht charter PINK SHADOW, the brand new 140.6ft (42.83m) catamaran charter SEAWOLF X, and the eye-catching 173.11ft (53m) motor yacht FIVE OCEANS.
Advocating adventure with its host of popular attractions and exquisite collection of superyachts and Mediterranean yacht charters, the Monaco Yacht Show filled in all the gaps in 2024 with complementary exhibits, hubs, and vendors ready to complete the ultimate yachting lifestyle package.
Scheduled to run from 24 - 27 September the Monaco Yacht Show 2025 anticipates the return of the Design & Innovation Hub, the exhibit of exotic cars to satisfy all automobile enthusiasts, and, a selection of the grandest superyachts in the world, leaving the industry to wait and see how the MYS will top a record-breaking edition.
