MEDYS 2026: Doors Close On The 11th Mediterranean Yacht Show In Nafplion

Following the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony with notable speakers, including Olga Kefalogianni (Minister of Tourism), the Governor of the Region of Peloponnese, the Mayor of Nafplion, and the President of the Greek Yachting Association, Nafplion enjoyed glorious spring weather throughout the five-day event, enabling all visitors to make the most of the striking display of Mediterranean yacht charters.

Welcoming 79 charter yachts with an average length of 39.68m, including 26 show debuts, the pontoons hummed with life, with strong attendance right to the end.

Hosting the anticipated return of the crew competitions, the ever-popular Chef's Competition ran on the theme of "The Greek tomato, reimagined."

Witnessing an array of entries with incredible flair and expertise, the culinary talent between the participating chefs was extraordinary, and the dishes were judged by a distinguished panel including chefs from Delta Restaurant Athens (Greece's only two-Michelin-star restaurant) and the Michelin-starred Pelagos at Four Seasons Astir Palace Athens. 

Gleaming in the Mediterranean sun, the motor yacht charters lining Nafplion catered to a range of prospective charter groups, with an enticing collection of premium amenities, unique interiors, and eyebrow-raising toy boxes.

Leading the way as the largest attending yacht for 2026, 235ft (72m) superyacht charter KOGO showcased her newest refit from 2025 and her award-winning interiors from Terence Disdale. With Asian-inspired decor, an open-air cinema, and a swimming pool complete with a counter current, she knew how to make a statement, and she certainly made a lasting impression for her show debut.

Joining KOGO on display, some of the largest East Mediterranean yacht charters in attendance also included the first-ever boat show appearance from 228ft (69m) charter yacht NOMAD, who was originally commissioned for the famous golfer Greg Norman.

Featuring a wealth of amenities such as a helipad, a plush cinema, a spacious nine-person Jacuzzi, and indulgent interiors, NOMAD effortlessly displayed the quality you expect from an Oceanfast yacht charter.

Elsewhere around the show, highlights around the docks included the show debuts of 197ft (60m) charter yacht O'MADELEINE, 177ft (53.87m) luxury yacht charter SOJO who presented her recently completed refit, and 121ft (37m) yacht rental BLUE SYMPHONIE from Moonen.
