‘Below Deck 2’ Charter Yacht OHANA Reportedly Sold and Renamed RHINO

By Editorial Team   23 May 2014

The 46.94 metre Admiral Marine Works motor yacht OHANA, made famous by the Bravo TV series ‘Below Deck’, is reported to have been sold and renamed RHINO.

Replacing motor yacht CUOR DI LEONE, now named LUMIERE, in season 2 of ‘Below Deck’, charter yacht RHINO was built in 1998 and has an exceptional charter record. Meticulously maintained since new, she features an interior designed by Donald Starkey and can accommodate up to 10 charter guests in five stunning staterooms. She has reportedly just finished a substantial refit and is available to charter in New England.

Appearing in the second series of ‘Below Deck’ as OHANA, the show follows the lives of a working charter crew, chosen by the executive producers, and their guests during a luxury yacht charter vacation. The first series of the show took place on board the 50m charter yacht CUOR DI LEONE, renamed HONOR for the purpose of the show, and aired on US TV last summer.

Despite receiving some criticism from yachting industry professionals who claimed the ‘reality’ show was not a true representation of luxury yacht charters, the series went on to reach 1.87 million viewers and was granted a second series set in the British Virgin Islands.

Take a look at RHINO’s beautiful interior and watch her charter video or speak to your charter broker about booking a charter on board this summer.
