By Oliver Pearson   15 June 2017

Extending their license with their current host until 2050, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is sure to remain one of the greatest opportunities to check out superyachts available for charter.

The world’s largest in-water boat show, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show has established itself as a defining event over the course of its 58 year history.

Now attracting over 100,000 attendees, 1,000 exhibitors, and 1,200 vessels, the show takes place over 39-acres of easily accessible spaces.

Having agreed terms with the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel & Yachting Center- the show’s current home- prospective charter guests can now be assured of checking out motor yachts and sailing yachts in the attractive surroundings of Florida for the next fifty years.

Showcasing a wide range of yachts, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show hosts everything from small sportsfishers to the larger superyachts available for charter.

With the yachts going on display across six different locations, guests are able to easily access the various exhibitions thanks to a number of water taxis, bus shuttles, and riverboats.

Causing quite the sensation last year, the multi-award winning 84m/273ft motor yacht SAVANNAH was on display in the Sails Marina.

Taking place between 1st-5th November, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2017 is sure to have an air of celebration about it for its 58th edition.

Securing a bright future, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is set to remain as one of the greatest events in the superyacht calendar
