Feadship launches 55m motor yacht SOMNIUM

The newest addition to the prestigious Feadship fleet has just been launched from the Aalsmeer shipyard. The majestic 55m superyacht SOMNIUM (previously known as Project 704) hits the water for the first time and is now ready for final finishing and sea trials before being delivered to her owner. It is expected that her delivery will be later this year.

Motor yacht SOMNIUM (whose name in Latin translates as "dream") is the second launch for Feadship this year, following the February release of 94m superyacht VIVA.

Luxury yacht SOMNIUM's sleek exterior styling is helmed by De Voogt with her interiors penned by FM-Architettura. She will accommodate up to 10 guests across 5 generously-sized staterooms. SOMNIUM exterior highlights include her spacious sundeck Jacuzzi, fabulous foredeck lounging area, and an aft deck pool complete with an adjustable floor.

Will superyacht SOMNIUM be available for yacht charters?

It is not anticipated that M/Y SOMNIUM will be available for crewed motor yacht charters. It has been reported that the yacht has been specifically designed so that the owner can take his family on worldwide cruises.
