Echo Yachts shows off largest luxury trimaran ‘White Rabbit Golf’

By Rebecca Bradbury   13 August 2018

Australian shipyard Echo Yachts hosted a party at its facilities for guests to take a closer look at the 84m/275ft tri-hulled superyacht ‘White Rabbit Golf’, which is due to become the world’s largest trimaran on her delivery later this year.

When she hits the water, White Rabbit Golf will not only be the largest tri-hulled yacht on the planet, but she will also be the largest yacht ever built in Australia.

Plus, her beam will measure an impressive 20 metres, which is a lot bigger than other superyachts of a similar length. For example, the 85m/279ft superyacht SOLANDGE has a beam of 14 metres. This means the new tri-hulled yacht will boast interior volumes far larger than other yachts in her class.

Behind both the exterior and interior styling was Australian yacht designer Sam Sorgiovanni, who has previously worked on projects such as the 110m/361ft Oceanco superyacht JUBILEE. One2Three, meanwhile, headed up the naval architecture.

She is expected to be able to accommodate 22 guests, and the interior styling will feature art deco overtones with gold accents and custom furniture.

Revealed at a party at the Australian-based yard, the trimaran will be delivered to her owner, who owns a number of other multihull superyachts, later this year.

One of these yachts, the 51m/167ft catamaran CHARLEY, will act as a support vessel to White Rabbit Golf. She can carry a fleet of 11 watercraft and boasts a decompression chamber and a helipad.
