It is something special to see two of the latest showpieces from the world's leading shipyards docked next to each other as seen above. The largest Feadship in the world, 2015 delivery charter yacht SYMPHONY, and the 66m/217ft Lürssen yacht 'Ester III', completed in 2014, tower against a port of smaller vessels and the backdrop of Pompeii.
Both superyachts were captured in drone footage enjoying their first season in the Mediterranean docked next to each other in the main port in Stabia, Italy (near Naples). The yachts showcased their grandeur and sleek exterior styling in the video, with Symphony's underwater lights particularly catching the attention of passers-by.
Designed by the multi-award winning team at Tim Heywood, 101.5m/333ft motor yacht Symphony is arguably one of the most well-appointed charter yachts currently in the water, as well as boasting the status as the 5th largest. Able to accommodate as many as 20 people thanks to being fully compliant with Passenger Yacht Code (PYC) regulations, she features a full-beam master suite and an elevator for easy access to other floors.
According to Feadship, she is currently being used by the yard "as a showpiece of Feadship excellence" as the "crowning glory of all yachts produced to date by Royal Van Lent." Charter guests can enjoy a Beach Club and wellness centre, an outdoor cinema, a fully-certified helipad and 6m contraflow swimming pool. Younger guests on board can particularly enjoy her large, inflatable water park and two large waterslides.
Not currently for charter, the Espen Øino-designed superyacht Ester III features a striking swimming pool area aft, and benefits from Zero Speed Stabilizers, a helipad, gym and Jacuzzi.
