Day one of the Monaco Yacht Show 2021 is in full swing in the glamorous Port Hercules, where this year's 181-strong fleet of superyachts is assembled and waiting, both in-show and at anchor, to welcome visitors on board.
This year's show has got off to a more genteel start today in Port Hercules with select badge holders, including Sapphire VIP guests, end-clients and their teams, invited to attend the show's exclusive opening, before the event is opened to the general public on Thursday 23 September.
Many will enjoy the hiatus from the usual opening day crowds, with many industry professionals also taking advantage of the networking opportunities with colleagues and clients alike, as well as conducting a number of important yacht viewings and visiting the show's highly-anticipated new areas for 2021.
Hundreds of exhibitors will be present at the show alongside a stellar lineup of superyachts from shipyards across the globe.

Away from the fleet, the stands are offering a lot to see as well. New models are being shown off and key representatives from major shipyards are on hand to provide advice and information about their latest projects.
As ever, YachtCharterFleet is on the ground to bring you live reporting from the boat show.
