The 32nd Newport Charter Show will run from 23rd-26th June 2014, showcasing luxury chartering as a way to make the most of New England.
The Newport Boat Show takes place annually in the historic setting of Newport, Rhode Island and is managed by the Newport Exhibition Group. A one-of-a-kind four-day show in the US, it attracts industry professionals and consumers alike (attending with brokers) and showcases a fantastic range of world-class luxury charter yachts.
Pila Pexton (Newport, R.I.), a Charter Yacht Specialist for Merle Wood & Associates recognises that “Newport is the sailing capital of the U.S., and with this summer overflowing with events and regattas, even more yacht enthusiasts – both motor and sail – are flocking to the waterfront.”
Yachts participating in this year's show will range from 24 metres to 70 metres in length and will located at the Newport Yachting Centre as well as at adjacent locations on the warterfront. There will also be a plethora of shore-side exhibitions and activities throughout the event including social gatherings as well as a themed 'yacht hop' where the captain and crews of participating yachts dress up in costumes and serve signature cocktails and hors d'oeuvres to their guests.
The 2014 Newport Charter Show will begin a week later than normal to accommodate the start of the celebrates Newport Bermuda Race.
