Charter Yacht PEGASO Renamed NAIA

By Editorial Team   13 February 2014

The highly luxurious 73m expedition yacht PEGASO has been renamed NAIA and continues to be one of the most unique and fully-equipped yachts on the charter market.

NAIA was built in 2011 by the Freire Shipyard as a Lloyds Classed Research Vessel designed specifically for underwater exploration. Designed by Andy Moore whilst he was still working at H2 Yacht Design, her sleek exterior lines wouldn’t look out of place in exclusive cruising grounds of the Mediterranean yet her 10,000 nautical mile range and extensive selection of facilities ensures she can travel far and wide in absolute comfort.

As the largest vessel ever to be built in Spain, superyacht NAIA’s expansive size allows for a truly unique and exceptional array of amenities, including the largest submarine on the global charter fleet which can carry up to five people. She also features a dedicated wet/dry science laboratory with separate scientist quarters as well as a commercially certified helipad.

Amongst all of the state-of-the-art technology and exploration equipment however is a yacht that offers the highest levels of luxury and comfort. The renowned Mark Berryman is responsible for her contemporary interior and has used a combination of large windows and skylights throughout with elegant styling and hand-picked sculptures and works of art. NAIA accommodates up to 12 guests in six stunning staterooms, including a VIP suite and four double staterooms on the main deck and a private owners deck featuring fore and aft terraces, private study and spectacular 360° panoramic views.
