The prestigious 229.8ft (70m) superyacht charter ALFA, crafted by Benetti, has successfully undergone an extensive refit at the renowned Lusben Shipyard in Livorno, Italy.
Originally launched as ALKHOR in 2020, this custom Benetti yacht for charter has seen significant enhancements, including a fresh repaint, advanced systems engineering, and a complete transformation of her interior spaces and furnishings.
The refit of the motor yacht charter commenced with both structural and aesthetic improvements, featuring a full hull repaint and owner deck enhancements, complemented by innovative wrapping applications and protective coatings. Mechanical upgrades followed, with updated software for independent arm control and redesigned, extended bollards.
The yacht’s side ladder, stern passerelle, and swim ladder were meticulously overhauled, while the stern swim platform received new fittings and retractable bollards for enhanced mooring and tender operations. The project was completed with refined lighting, including a new backlit yacht nameplate.
The work on ALFA has been a source of great pride for us, not only because of the prestige of the project, but also because it perfectly embodies the ‘life cycle’ philosophy recently introduced by the Azimut|Benetti Group.
A winner at the World Superyacht Awards in 2021, taking the award for Displacement Motor Yachts Between 1000GT and 1499GT, charter yacht ALFA's refit focused largely on hospitality areas, with the addition of four custom bars, including a teppanyaki bar on the skydeck and a curved servery.
The galley was reconfigured for efficiency during indulgent Mediterranean yacht charters, equipped with new appliances, and a striking wine cellar was introduced along the portside corridor, transforming a transitional space into a standout feature.
Final results of charter yacht ALFA's new interiors are yet to be unveiled, however, they are described by the yard to now exude a modern elegance, thanks to Mark Berryman Design. The redesign focused on improving the onboard experience while preserving the yacht’s distinguished, subtle elegance.
Her main deck now features custom sofas, marble-topped tables with fire pits, chaise lounges, and bespoke poufs with playful elements like integrated chessboards. The master cabin has also received significant upgrades, with a new headboard, refined finishes, and redesigned cabinetry.
A popular choice for French Riviera and Sardinia yacht charters, yacht rental ALFA is back on the market in time for the forthcoming summer season, with bookings already open for the West Mediterranean.
