Following a 2.5 year conversion with Icon Yachts, RAGNAR has been redelivered as a cutting-edge luxury expedition yacht.
After successful sea trials beginning in May, she left Icon's Harlingen facilities earlier this week and is currently en route to Reykjavík.
The motor yacht is no stranger to these cruising grounds, as she started life in 2012 as an icebreaking supply vessel named Sanaborg.
The construction project was commissioned for an experienced Owner who has previously chartered superyachts in high-latitude regions and wanted a yacht that would be able to cope with polar climates.
RAGNAR certainly fits the bill, as she is LY3 (Large Yacht Code) compliant and is one of the few expedition yachts for charter with an ICE Class A1 hull.
She also features PC5-rated ice-breaking pods that are capable of ‘chewing through’ thick sheets of Arctic ice.
The yacht will be turning heads across Iceland with her impressive profile, which showcases a huge aft deck helipad, multiple lounging area and a dip pool on the sundeck.
Her accessories include a Ripsaw EV2 super tank, Sea explorer submarine and a light utility helicopter with a refuelling station.

RAGNAR boasts a number of impressive on-board facilities including a fully-equipped wellness centre with a snow room, rainforest shower and classic spa facilities including a steam room and sauna.
She also offers a video games centre, a large swimming pool, a wine cellar and a deck jacuzzi.

She has a range of 6000 nm from and she is powered by 817000-litre fuel tanks.
RAGNAR is available to book now. The charter price for RAGNAR is upwards of €525,000 p/week (plus expenses). She will be chartering in Scandinavia for the foreseeable future, but she is expected to be available to book in destinations including Belize and Costa Rica in the future.
