Celebrating the first boat show in SouthEast Asia for over two years, the sixth edition of the Thailand Yacht Show is set to be held in June at the Ocean Marina in Pattaya, marking a step change in its annual format of the show.
Representing a significant extension to their 6-year yacht show portfolio, organisers of the Thailand Yacht Show have confirmed it will now be staged across a two-show set-up, with events held in Pattaya and Phuket at either end of the main yachting season.
The main drive behind this development is to reach a wider audience, ensuring the Thailand Yacht Show will be “bigger, more representative of the whole of the industry, and far more easily accessible to visitors from all over Thailand”, as well as to exhibitors and stakeholders from all aspects of the yachting industry.
The first showcase will take place in the beautiful Gulf of Thailand at the newly completed Ocean Marina in Pattaya, with the major focus on production yachts and the domestic market, although organisers say they will include “as many superyachts as are available in the area.”
Special features will include the refurbished Ocean Marina Yacht Club, a diving exhibition, live sailing and boating experiences, plus sea trials on high-quality charter yachts. Organisers say they have 22 yachts booked in, and are expecting over 50.

The show is conveniently close to major transport links, including Bangkok’s international airport, which hosts numerous direct and indirect flights from all over the globe and SouthEast Asia.
The cruising grounds in the Gulf of Thailand are some of the most spectacular in the world, offering myriad tranquil beaches and secluded islands covered in lush rainforests. Popular hotspots include the celebrated islands of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, as well as the breathtakingly beautiful Mu Ko Chang and Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Parks.
The second part will take place in Phuket in December at the beginning of the next high season, with exact dates and location to be confirmed. This part of the show is intended to focus on the fleet of foreign-owned vessels that are expected to arrive in the latter end of the year to enjoy Thailand's celebrated cruising grounds during the winter season.
