The inaugural industry-only Thailand Charter Week will be hosted over six days at Phuket Yacht Haven.
Designed to promote the cruising grounds of South East Asia as a premium yacht charter destination, Thailand Yacht Charter Week is a must for industry professionals looking to expand their knowledge of the region.
Between 15 and 20 luxury yachts are set to go on display at this year's edition. The fleet includes the distinctive 41m/134ft motor yacht 'Ocean Emerald' and the elegant 29.5m/97ft motor yacht 'Mia Kai'.
The unique format of the show will allow attendees to spend three days touring the yachts on display and getting to know the captains and crew. There will also be informative seminars, social events and the chance to browse the exhibitors' stands lining the boardwalks.
After the first three days, the yachts will then head out on overnight cruises to allow brokers and other participants to familiarise themselves with the cruising grounds of Thailand's Andaman Sea.
With its myriad of islands, calm waters and world-class diving spots, the Yacht Charter Week is an invaluable experience for discovering more about this region of South East Asia.
Participants also have the chance to learn more about Phuket Haven Marina. The venue has the capacity to accommodate 320 vessels in total, and is ideal for big superyachts as it has a draft capacity of 6m. It is located a short drive from Phuket's international airport, making it easily accessible for those embarking on a crewed yacht charter in Thailand.
Inspired by the success of Antigua Charter Show and the MYBA Charter Show, the Thailand Charter Week will be Asia's first international event geared towards the industry exclusively.
With its excellent mix of social festivities and lineup of luxury yachts, the first Thailand Charter Week is set for success, and will no doubt welcome an even larger fleet and even more participants next year.
