Port Vell, Barcelona
CANCELLED (26 - 29 Apr 2021)
A leading event for professionals in the yachting industry, the MYBA Charter Show 2021 is expected to welcome a superb fleet of superyachts to Barcelona's Port Vell.
After being cancelled last year as a result of COVID-19, the MYBA Charter Show is back for its 32nd edition in 2021.
The event has become a mainstay in the international calendar for those in the superyacht sector, and is expected to welcome high numbers of attendees a fine fleet-up of luxury yachts for charter this year.
The show acts as a prime opportunity for brokers to tour some of the finest members of the charter fleet, and gather first-hand information on behalf of their clients.
Now in its fourth decade, the industry-only event made the switch from its previous address in Italy in 2017. The show was held in Genoa for almost thirty years before moving to the glitzy setting of OnceOcean Port Vell, where it will now be hosted for the forseeable future.
Organised by MYBA, the Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association, this year’s line-up will boast a spectacular selection of superyachts.
As well as stepping on board to experience these yachts for themselves, brokers are also able to meet with captains and crew, and attend informative events designed to facilitate networking and connecting with fellow attendees.
The highly-anticipated Chef’s Competition will be making a comeback to the MYBA Charter Show this year. Putting superyacht chefs through their paces, the competitors will be tasked with impressing an expert panel of judges with their menus.
Alongside them, interior crews will be attempting to wow judges with a Tabletop competition and deck teams will be putting their entertainment skills to the test in separate contests which will inject some fun into proceedings.
