Bringing together superyachts, yacht owners and the Asian glitterati, Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous (KRSR) returns for its third edition on 6 December 2018.
An invitation-only event held in Phuket, Thailand, KRSR presents four days of superyacht displays, bespoke activities and glamorous parties in a relaxed yet luxurious environment.
The event is fast becoming one of the leading superyacht meets in South East Asia and provides owners with a prime-time opportunity to showcase their flagship vessels ahead of the start of the region’s charter season.
World class shipyards and brokerage houses will return as sponsors with some hosting exclusive dinners for superyacht owners and other VIPs. These dinners will be part of an extensive programme of glitzy events taking place throughout the duration of the show.
Expect lunches, cocktail parties, water toy demonstrations, wine-tasting sessions, yacht hops and a ‘Kata Rocks Charter Season Opening Party’. The event also coincides with the King’s Cup Regatta and guests are invited to watch the action unfold aboard one of the attending superyachts.
Kata Rocks is an oceanfront resort perched on a small cape between Kata and Kata Noi beaches on the Andaman Sea. With its own private jetty, the resort provides the perfect setting for the rendezvous.
