Cannes Yachting Festival 2020

Vieux Port, Cannes

CANCELLED (8 - 13 Sep 2020)

By Katia Damborsky

The 2020 Cannes Yachting Festival will be back between September 8 - 13, bringing a fleet of boats and thousands of exhibitors to the South of France for the 43rd edition of the boat show.

For six days in September, Cannes will be a hive of activity as boating enthusiasts, industry professionals and prospective clients descend upon the French Riviera for the 2020 Cannes Yachting Festival.

The event will provide ample opportunities to tour yachts, peruse exhibitors’ stands and learn more about the wide variety of vessels on display, many of which will be making their worldwide debuts at the show; a huge draw for many attendees.

Enormous selection of boats

The 2020 lineup promises plenty for visitors to explore, with around 700 vessels expected to attend the show.

The majority will be motor yachts, but a brand new sailing zone at Port Canto was introduced last year, and proved popular among show-goers.

The new zone will play host to around 100 prestige sailing vessels.  This ensures the Cannes Yachting Festival has an enormous diversity of vessels on display, with everything from sleek pleasure cruisers, sporty day boats and small RIBs and tenders in attendance for 2020.

What’s more, almost 100 superyachts regularly make an appearance in Cannes, and Port Canto will be back with its dedicated brokerage and sales area alongside the sailing zone.

Exhibitors from top shipyards and luxury goods

Thousands of exhibitors will take to the boardwalks for 2020, with stands representing major shipyards, brokerage firms and a range of products and services from the marine sector. They will be on hand to provide first-hand information and advice about their projects.

As ever, the Luxury Gallery will back with more prestige products at the Palais de Festivals. Here, attendees can browse and purchase goods including fashion accessories, homeware, jewellery and watches and high-end arts and crafts.

It is advised that you attend the show with a yacht broker, who will be able to best advise you on the yachts on display and provide you with a more seamless show experience.
