Australian Superyacht Rendezvous 2021

Making a triumphant return for its fourth edition, the 2021 Australian Superyacht Rendezvous will be back at a brand new location in the Whitsundays.

Postponed from 2020, the invitation-only event will provide the perfect opportunity for key industry players to network and explore the cruising grounds and the local fleet in this region of Australia. 

The yachting meet will provide a stellar line-up of yachts, both for sale and available for crewed yacht charter vacations.

While the event has traditionally focused on luxury yachts based or built in Australia, 2019 marked a first when the 63m/ 208ft charter yacht SuRi confirmed her attendance.

The move was described as an 'exciting coup’, and it means that the Australian Superyacht Rendezvous is expanding its focus into yachts which cruise in the surrounding regions, such as Fiji and Papua New Guinea.

The event typically hosts a wide range of motor yachts, with a handful of sailing yachts also on the line-up.

The 3-day event will offer numerous chances for attendees to tour the charter yachts on display, gathering first-hand information and enjoying the sunny setting.

There will also be a range of familiarity cruises on board participating yachts. Guests can spend some time exploring the Whitsunday Islands by boat, and enjoy a range of exclusive shoreside activities including beach picnics and reef adventures.

The Australian Superyacht Rendezvous 2021 will include a roundtable discussion that will hear from guest speakers including owners, captains, crew members and brokers.

Last year was the first edition of the show to introduce a Micro Expo which was hailed as a valuable opportunity for manufacturers, suppliers and designers to present their products and services to attendees.

Proceedings will be enlivened by yacht hops, a cocktail party and a VIP event on the last night that will see fireworks light up the sky.
