The first major of 2018, the Australian Open will see the world’s top tennis players battle it out for the prestigious title from 15th to 28th January.
Held in Melbourne Park, the Australian Open attracts the biggest names in tennis from Andrew Murray and Novak Djokovic to the Williams sisters.
The 2017 Grand Slam tournament saw Roger Federer topple his great rival Rafa Nadal in the men’s final, claiming his 18th Grand Slam championship crown.
In the women's singles, meanwhile, Serena secured her 23rd Grand Slam by triumphing over her sister Venus. Mixed, doubles and junior competitions are also features of the tournament.
