Expedition Yacht LUNA’s Sumptuous Sunpad-Surrounded Swimming Pool

16th June 2014

As the largest expedition yacht in the world, the 114m/377’ LUNA plays host to a superb selection of facilities, none more impressive than her expansive aft deck featuring two generous seating areas and a large swimming pool enclosed by comfortable sunpads.

Described as ‘a new class of expedition yacht’, LUNA was custom built by Lloyd Werft in 2010 as a replacement for Roman Abramovich’s 112.8m/370’ explorer yacht ‘LE GRAND BLEU’. She has recently joined the global charter fleet and will be available to select clients who will be lucky enough to experience her exceptional levels of comfort in the far corners of the globe.

LUNA’s stunning Donald Starkey designed interior offers accommodation for up to 18 guests in nine staterooms while her crew of 49 ensure every requirement is catered for in five star style. Ideal for enjoying both the glamorous waters of the Mediterranean as well as the far-flung cruising grounds of Antarctica, her substantial outdoor living areas are fully-equipped for entertainment and relaxation.

The huge aft deck swimming pool has been fitted with multi coloured LED lights that illuminate it under the night sky, perfect for star-gazing or using as stunning focal point for parties on board. The leads down to her luxurious leisure area featuring a beach club and large swim platform with a gym that enables guests to work-out to an ever-changing backdrop.
