Charter Yacht Serene Wows the USA

4th October 2013

After spending the summer charter season in Vancouver, the magnificent 133m/436’ luxury motor yacht SERENE has been drawing attention in Seattle where she is thought to be the largest superyacht to have ever been moored there.

Charter yacht SERENE is among the 12 largest yachts ever built in the world and is one of the largest additions to the global charter fleet. She arrived in Seattle’s Pier 90 in late August and since then has been turning heads with her vast blue hull which by night lights up with multi-coloured LED lights which create a neon glow around her.

European travellers have become accustomed to seeing superyachts of this magnitude cruising in the popular and glamorous Mediterranean cruising grounds such as the French Riviera. SERENE’s arrival on the US West Coast however has been featured in newspapers throughout the region and can be seen as a positive introduction to the US charter market.

Built in 2011 by Fincantieri, SERENE is thought to be staying in Seattle for around 60 days along with her 52-strong charter crew. Set over seven spectacular decks, she offers every luxury amenity you could imagine, ranging from an indoor climbing wall to an open-air cinema as well as two helicopter landing pads and a private submarine tender. She is one of a handful of charter yachts authorised to cruise with more than 12 guests, offering accommodation for up to 24 guests in 12 beautiful staterooms.
