S/Y AEGIR New to the Charter Fleet

By Editorial Team   22 April 2014

The stunning sailing yacht AEGIR is the newest addition to the global charter fleet and is available to charter in the West Mediterranean.

Built by Carbon Ocean Yachts in 2010, AEGIR is constructed entirely from carbon fibre and boasts a warm and contemporary interior along with plentiful deck space for sunbathing and alfresco dining. Featuring state-of-the-art entertainment systems and superior design, AEGIR can take her charter guests to areas where other yachts cannot, providing the highest comfort and service.

AEGIR won the International Superyacht Society Design Award’s Sailing Boat of the Year 24m-40m in 2011. A true performance cruiser, she is in like-new condition and has accommodation on board for up to six charter guests in two double and one twin stateroom, each with ensuite facilities. On deck, her flush deck encompasses sun pads, cushions and bean bags and a large Bimini over the boom covers the majority of the deck.

A cruiser/racer sailing yacht, AEGIR can perform both roles perfectly without having to compromise. She was unbeaten at the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup Cruiser/Racer Championship in 2012 and sailed the 670 nautical miles from Palma to Malta in just 62 hours. She also won first place in the Maxi Racing Class at the 2013 Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup world Championship.

AEGIR Is available to charter from €25,000 per week in the West Mediterranean.
