Superyacht Cup 2015: Will Sailing Yacht GANESHA Continue her Regatta Success?

With last Saturday's victory at the Dubois Cup in Porto Cervo still hot off the press, the industry eagerly awaits seeing if award-winning Vitters 46m/151ft sailing yacht GANESHA can continue to dominate the regatta circuit at the upcoming Superyacht Cup Palma 2015. She will face stiff competition, however in seasoned like racers 55m/180ft MARIE.

With only one day or racing completed at the 2015 Dubois Cup due to weather conditions, sloop GANESHA was victorious off Sardinia Costa Smeralda, after completing the 17 nautical mile course in first place in less than an hour and a half.

Designed by the esteemed Dubois, GANESHA's narrow beam and Panamax rig allow for great acceleration.

From 17 to 20 June, she will compete as part of a 17 strong fleet for the 2015 edition of The Superyacht Cup in the Balearics.

4 days of racing will decide a victor amongst an impressive selection of charter yachts, including previous winner of the St. Barth's Bucket, Vitters sailing yacht MARIE - benefitting from a carbon fibre mast and hydraulic system - and Perini Navi superyacht Perseus3

A new build from the Italian shipyard, Perseus3 is one of the most innovative competitors at this year's event. She boasts a huge 75.8m carbon fibre mast, electric variable speed motors and furlers and a carbon fibre bowsprit to ensure state-of-the-art performance.
