Sailing Yacht ATHENA No Longer for Charter

By Editorial Team   17 February 2014

It has recently been confirmed that the magnificent 90m (295ft) sailing superyacht ATHENA has been taken off the charter market.

Built by Dutch Shipyard Royal Huisman in 2004 to worldwide acclaim, ATHENA is amongst the top 100 largest yachts in the world and will be a significant loss to the global charter fleet. ATHENA’s sheer size and impressive presence on the water are what really set her apart from other charter yachts on the water.

Her beautifully classic styling is the work Pieter Beeldsnijder Design and has been combined with the highest levels of modern luxury, creating the unique cruising platform that has made her so popular since her launch.

She has also been recognised with a number of industry awards, including the ‘Best Sailing Yacht 36m+’ by the International Superyacht Society Awards in 2005 as well as the 2012 World Superyacht Awards ‘Best Refitted Yacht’.
