RECAP: Mediterranean Yacht Show 2015 Comes to Nafplion

By Editorial Team   1 June 2015

From 2nd to 6th May, Nafplion became a hub of superyacht activity for the second edition of the Mediterranean Yacht Show.

The trade show saw 67 yachts and 242 brokers gather in the Peloponnese sunshine for inspections - with highlights including 53m/173ft M/Y 'O'Neiro' and 49m/161ft M/Y 'The Mercy Boys' - and enjoy a busy schedule of social events.

Founded by the newly established Greek Yachting Association (GYA), this year saw an increase in the number luxury yachts on display (last year: 57) and size of yachts attending, with brokers also reportedly selling more.

At this year's show, YachtCharterFleet sat down with President of Greek Yachting Association, Michael Skoulikidis to discuss the current state of the Greek superyacht industry - read what he had to say here.
